Stephen Curry Discusses Closet Dynamics with Wife Ayesha: ‘She Has More Space’

They married in 2011 and have three kids.

Stephen Curry is spilling the tea on what it’s like to share a closet with his fashion-loving wife, Ayesha Curry.

In a recent interview with People, the basketball star discussed his collaboration with Rakuten to promote Black fashion designers during the 2024 NBA season and how his better half “has more space” in their shared closet.

"I'm probably more organized or more OCD about it being clean on my side. "That's kind of the back-in-forth," Stephen said. "I think I put a little bit of pressure on her on the daily because of how my side of the closet looks. But also she puts pressure on me by trying to keep up with her style because she pretty much brings it every single day."

Over the years, we have watched the Sweet July founder’s style evolve. Ayesha's fashion philosophy is chic, sophisticated, and timeless. She favors classic silhouettes, versatile pieces, and neutral tones with pops of color.

The four-time champion told People, "On a day when I might not be leaving the house I'm going to be super casual and probably rocking some type of hoodie. No matter what the temperature is, you'll probably see me in a hoodie."

Stephen also knows when to “dial it up.” He added, “I have a pretty strong, wide range of stuff that you've probably seen me in. It's fun because I like to get pushed in a lot of different directions from a fashion perspective and it's evolved over time."

Together, the couple’s unique styles reflect their polished personalities and fashion sensibilities.

Stephen and Ayesha initially crossed paths as teenagers in North Carolina, where they first met at church. Following their marriage in June 2011, their family grew with the arrival of their first child, daughter Riley, just a year later. The family joyfully expanded once more with the birth of their second daughter, Ryan, in 2015, and their son, Canon, joined the family in 2018.
