Duh Aztec, I was once sarcastic as you,but I was fortunate enough to be brought up in truth,and through a very hard trial in my life, I prayed to the Lord, to heal my body, he did just that, I'm fine today. I prayed to him to put someone special in my life (my husband) he did just that, but because of bad relationships, I didn't trust myself, so I ask God to let me know this man was from him, I wanted this man to tell me three things, 1. He loved Jesus 2. That he could love my child 3. That he could love me completely My husband wrote these things to me in black and white, no one knew what I had prayed but me and God. Now I'm sure you can tell there is much more to the story, and in it there are even more prayers answered. Through it all, I learned that no one could love me completely but God. He continues to answer my prayers.

What would you have done if god did not put your husband in your life or heal your body? And how do you explain those who don't have their bodies healed? Why hasn't god healed an amputee? I can tell you why. It's because there is no god. Some people heal. Some people don't. And no amputee has ever been healed, despite their prayers. Some people get someone in their life, some don't, regardless of if they pray or don't pray. You can pray to a bottle of milk and get the same results as praying to god. And that is how I know god does not answer prayers.

Oh so very limited you are, I know because I prayed to God and HE answer, was it over night? No, I trusted and waited and HE delivered and that's what happens to some of the others they lack the faith, they are praying to the wrong God, or the lives that they are living aren't in HIS will. Like I said the three things I wanted to hear from a man, was only converse about between me and my God. So I know, without a shadow of a doubt it was HIM. I had 6 tumors the size of oranges, today they are gone! doctors said I they had done all they could do, I went to God, I'm still alive and that was 20 years ago. There was a man in my church, whose baby got gangrene from a cut on her hand, the doctors wanted to amputate, the mother said alright, the father took that baby from the hospital, went and hid in a motel and prayed for three days with her, ones were frantic, ME TOO, "the infection will kill her" he came back to the hospital with his little girl the doctors had to testify on behalf of God's healing power, that young girl is an attorney today with two hands. Why is it that people who don't pray get the same things you get?  Why do people who don't pray for a mate get one? Why is that sick people who don't pray get healed? Prayer does not work. Just because you pray for something and get, that doesn't mean it works. Because there are a lot of people praying for the exact same thing and don't get it. And there are even more people who don't pray and still get what they want. What does me being a crossdresser have to do with prayer not working? What I do know is that prayer has never been explained to me as yes, wait and no.

The bible says in John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."

Nothing about waiting or no!, People that don't pray or blessed because of the prayers of the righteous availing much, to answer the prayer of his children God allows the rain to fail on the just as well as the unjust.

I don't adhere to what this Christian.com says, only the bible.
