You are misleading Black people into believing in that BS. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai are the two most effective martial arts on the planet. Acting like all that BS is effective is miseducation. Boxing is effective, but only under certain rules and regulations. When knees, kicks, and elbows get in the game, then...not so much. Not to mention take downs and the ground game.

After watching the latest episode of the IRON RING, it's evident that BET does not take MMA as a serious sport. In fact, I'm certain that BET does not understand an inch of what MMA is all about. They have these obnoxious rappers/entertainers screaming and giving random advice on how the professional fighters should execute their fight ("Kick his *8*ing ***, BOYEEEEE!). In the most recent episode, some unfortunate Asian kid was fighting against a Black kid, and throughout the fight the Asian kid attemped multiple submissions. Around the end of the first round, the Asian kid had the Black kid in an arm-triangle choke, but the incompetent ref thought nothing of it and stood them back to their feet. I'm not sure, but it sounded like the Asian kid was protesting, "Is he out?". Somehow, the Black kid got mount and landed 1 clean shot (and a bunch of sloppy shots) and the ref rushed in to save a barely touched Asian kid. Seriously, I felt horrible for the kid. To make matters even worse, this one Coach was screaming "C'mon, Black man. Send him back to Japan!" over and over throughout the fight. BET, thanks for this great sitcom comedy JTheory

The ignorance for the sport, and blatant racism, have completely turned me off to the point that I can't even watch 5 minutes of it anymore... The last episode sealed the deal. How is this even allowed on television?
