The question should be if these black men seem to be in the spot light more often than others because they deal with OTHER THAN Black women? Look at Byron Allen for example. He couldn't make me laugh even if he tickled my feet with a feather, but he's had 2 or 3 talk shows. And we know that Tiger Woods has always been in denial of his African heritage. In addition, the whorish groupies that come along with being a celebrity, especially in basketball, are usually white women who literally "go after" the Black male celebrity for his money. Furthermore, Black men with money are consistently exposed to white women who are 9 times out of 10 sluts. It's only natural that they would begin a relationship with them, especially if they pounce around half-naked and will give a head job at the drop of a hat. Talk about a gold digger! The Caucasian woman is primarily who Black men see on TV day in and day out. The media always refers to them as "beautiful", "drop-dead gorgeous," etc. I bet if Black women were traditionally looked upon as "beauty queens" like white women are, then the Black male celebrity would have no problem with having one as his wife or the trophy on his arm. In fact, the Black male celebrities are more than likely in competition with each other to see who can get the finest white woman. It's sad how the media and this society has made us think. It's the brainwashing and stereotyping that's associated with being a Black woman and the potential fame and fortune that the Caucasian business owners and trend-setters provide that have many Black celebrity men bamboozled.Hell, I've been married to a Black man for 16 years this past April 15 and I'm a darker skinned beautiful Black woman (but the media would never put us out there on a consistent basis in that light. In fact, Michelle Obama is the only beautiful Black woman out there (and Barack loves her dearly, so maybe this sickness in America will change). The attitude that the media "says" we have is nothing more than a myth if the Black man would deal with mature, educated Black women who knows herself & her history, and not the ones who only want the brother to have a nice car and a dollar in his pocket. I know they say that love has no color, but I do have to hand it to the brothers who stick with their Black women regardless of their fame and fortune because if the relationship is actually based on true heart-felt love and not on lust, then when the shi* hits the fan, they know who their true soul-mate is. I know the Obama's have a lot on them right now, but maybe the positive image Michelle projects to the world will change some of the negative stereotyping against Black women. I just wish more stories like hers and mine were told more often to the American media.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with Black men dating outside their race, willneverforget. Ever heard of "Freedom of Association"; one of the founding principles of the U.S. Constitution? If two people from different races want to get together, they have every right to do so. I suggest you get over whatever disdain you feel for interracial unions and understand the nature of living in a free society like ours.
