Church leaders are often criticized,and degraded,but what about millions of people who are pimping and prostituting the church. Yes leaders should be held accountable,and so should laymen. There are people who attend churches,but never contribute their time or money to the church. The church needs workers and money to do the work of the kingdom of God. Visiting the sick and shut-in. feeding the poor. proclaiming the gospel around the world. A support system for the physical, sexual, and mental abused, and help for those recovering from alcohol and drugs Weddings and funerals for the community as well. The work of the church is unlimited. People use the church when it is convenience to do so. They use the church to sell their ware, find mates ,increase their businesses,and to funeralize their dead. Church pimping by anyone is wrong.

Maybe if there are "Church Pew Pimps" they learned it from the Pastor, people like Prophet Philip E. Owen's of North Las Vegas, NV. that perfected the scam and is the original "Pimp in the Pulpit!" I support my church, and believe in Tithes and Offerings but this church that was or is also in Lansing, Michigan which my cousin used to go to,with no more than 20 members now, showed me when I used to visit that all this "Above and Beyond Giving and Pledges" were nothing but the Pastor Pimping the Congregation like her former Pastor, Pimping Philip E. Owen's and his wife that forgot where she came from. We as Blacks are victimized by society and above all else Black Pastors. They will get theirs and I have sense enough to know how to give without killing myself, or having my utilities shut off, or loosing my home or being made to feel guilty because of what man says I should do. Read Mal 3:7. And remember 1Peter 5:7!Because there are wolves in the pulpit!
