I can't WAIT for this show!!!! I see that there is already a token white girl on the show, and that makes me a little proud but sad at the same time as that would have been a DREAM COME TRUE for me ... I would just like to say to Mr. Hadjii: If your pre-selected token white girl should not work out, I would be HONORED to take her place (I even have natural red hair in the event that you need to make me her the auntie or the cousin, etc). I watched the show tonite and i must say it was SOOO much more than I expected. Hilarious AND Smart. I'm hooked already cant wait for the rest of the season and I really hope that BET rides this out all the way, I will be really disappointed if this is only a one season thing.

I wasn’t expecting much from this show (sorry, BET). But it’s really well written. I like it. Diva’s a good character, but Somebodies is definitely a boys’ show, they could lose that co-ed carwash crap. I like the redhead with the chicken-tea (they didn’t stereotype her as a do-anything-fo’-mah-man bimbo) and the counselor who was transferring her personal issues onto Scottie (sister is either stressed or touched, either way she had me cracking up). Yeah, I’m programming this show on the DVR.

I enjoyed the show. The writing was good & I found myself laughing out loud several times. That seen with Aunt Agnes talking about sings from GOD was HILARIOUS!!!! BET needs to work on transitioning to commercials & how the episodes end but otherwise, can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. Great show & a great cast!

Sorry lesliejay63, the show is actually filmed in Athens, GA so North Hollywod isn't a good location to launch your attempt to play the "TOKEN" white girl. How'd you enjoy the show?

Yeah leslie jay, the show is filmed in Athens, Georgia.  Also, I want to let you know that you make lock your comment, but there is always a loop one and this is it (smile).  Since you want to talk in parables, check this out.  If can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.  I see you did (locked) ha ha!  I just get sick of people trying to get something for nothing.  Maybe if you work hard, you could be the token white girl and not have to sound like a leach or a groupie when posting comments.  Also, I'm having a great day remember you wasn't.  The comment about being sad and happy.  Sounds a little bipolar.  How you expect to get on when you leave a partial negative comment?  You don't even know how to play the game.  Go talk to some professional groupies before you post again.

Yay!!!!!!! Congratulation to you Mr. Hand( or Hadjiis, as my daddy Charles, would say)! I am so proud of you. I made all of my friends watch last night to help me support you! Okay...I have one suggestion...you really need to add a character that is somewhat like LL(Uncle Larry), that would be funny. If you need me to do a guest spot jus holla(you know how cute I am :-)). The show was FANTASTIC!!!!! I especially liked Tory and Jelly. I'm glad that BET is branching out into producing their own scripted shows. Its nice to see something that is written for adults, unlike Baldwin Hills.... YAY BET! I don't care what Aaron McGruder says, if they keep doing shows like this, BET is cool with me.
