I am very excited to see this show because this is wat we need on Bet! BET, isn't really Black Entertainment! All black ppl don't watch all of some of the "hood life" things that the television productions put on there! Bet is owned by MTV- which is not a Black Company. So, I am so glad that we have a real "news" for African-Americans now. BTW: we used to have BET news on there but some how it got taken off!

I appreciate the fact that BET is attempting to bring something else to their programming besides videos and celebrity gossip; however, I think this effort is quite shallow. Why does this show only get 30 minutes, once a week, on Friday at 11 PM Eastern Standard time? The people who need to see the knowledge that Jeff Johnson is trying to bestow upon us most likely are not at home watching tv on a Friday night. I really hope BET doesn't think this 30 minutes of consciousness on the worst night for tv ratings is really enough...

Thank God for the..."TRUTH"...with you brother Jeff Johnson...

I watched your show last night and loved! it...I see they put you at 11:00pm! where they thought all intelligent minds would be...sleep...we fooled them...smile.

 I just wanted to say this...That "Black"... woman, you had on your first show...is a self hating... Black man hating..."MCcain" loving snake!

She appears on "CNN" and "FOX" news shows with her self hate and negative spit fire, dogging Black men...especially..Barack Obama.....what she sneakly and...snakely...said about Barack and ..."drug" use ect...at the end of the show...really showed the ..SNAKE...in her and her, negative vibe with the Black men on panel..it was not only... sad it was.. ashame on her part...keep her off your show..she's a snake and spy.. just to see up close what we think and then she'll appear on Cnn and Fox and be as negative as always...you'll see, so heed my words on her.

God bless you brotha Johnson I hope you blow up the..."TRUTH"...big time.

I was so happy to see some "news" on BET...the "Truth" was a good first effort...and it's been a loooooooooooooooong while. Luv Jeff...and Melvin Van Peebles was a cool brotha. But...what's up with the big white front on the desk and the "jazz hands?" All that white was distracting. Can you tone it down? And...what's up with hiding the show on Friday night at 11? You do want folks to watch....right?

Good show, or at least a good thought. I hope for deeper conversation. It is a waste of time to talk about 5 things in 30 minutes without really getting substance. I can watch the news for a re-cap. I'd like to see good conversation and analysis.

Lest we not forget that BET is owned by VIACOM...Oh my people suffer from lack of knowledge...The TRUTH will never be truely revealed no disrespect to this brotha, but they allow you to say what is only a mere truth to a certain %...many have no clue what I am talking about..Others may have questions, and yet still some may do their own research to validate my many posts...I will give you TRUTH and in return require nothing in return....But it is not I who give you TRuth but your anscestors thorugh me and them through you should you tap inot your eternal self...

I agree I wish the show was at least an hour. Jeff Johnson touches meaningful topics and subjects. I like his show and i'd like to see more of him a lot longer.

In as much as I could sit and drool by the mouth while looking at Jeff, I actually like what he has to say. He knows the world's views quite well. He is a hottie! I can only imagine what those kissable lips tastes like! However, i would like for the show to air an hour long. It seems as if when he gets into the show its oover. I would like to see less guests and more dialogue. He seems to be rushing through his time spans, so he won't receive a citation from BET, Inc.

I watched the show last night.And the author Iyanla said there's a difference between spirituality and religion and I strongly agree.In spirituality you're not conditioned like you would be in a church. And so you can be free and honest. In other words cause spirituality is an inner experience God wont tell other beings what you told him/her. As for the church their intelligence is limited. Most people who take the bible literally are limited. I could never take seriously a book that says slavery is o.k, condemns gay people,a book that says women are under men and a book where it was o.k to abuse and slaughter animals at that time.There are certain books from the bible I'm o.k with like psalms and proverbs but not all the books. I'm 19 and I dont go to church but truly I and many others believe that faith not church is an inner experience.With much respect churches are like clubs group gatherings some are good some are not just like people.

In this nation equality is important and so is science,intelligence etc. Orientation should'nt be on anyones agenda. Why should we care who marries who. The religions that attack homosexuality are not being equal. And christianity is not the only religion there are so many out there.Religion if you ask me will add on more problems to politics and they clearly already have problems. I'll stress that True spirituality not religion is what will save an individual. Not to say religions dont have their importances I respect them. But I find it hard that in this day an age people base their whole self and character on a book to be perfect or try to be I'm a young person and I refuse to do that. The bible if you ask me needs to be reedited a new bible should be created. Cause this is a new time. The bible was written by people who were'nt as educated as we are.People back then died young cause there were'nt any scientists or real docs to help them. Now we really have that and are more enlightened then they were. Young people now die young due to violence but not cause we are'nt medically equipped.

My name is yolando james.  I heard about your show on how very informative your program is to the younger generation.  Over the past couple years I have been researching the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK, the illegal, unconstitutional privatised central bank that is  draining this and every other country in the world of its resources.  Its the reason why our country can't support its own citizens, why you need two parents to work to support a family, why citizens (especially the black and other minority communities) are impoverished having to make bad decisions on providing for their family, its why blacks are the majority in prisons, its why the education system is created for us to robotic slaves. 

The current gross national debt is ridiculous. That doesn't include the Social Security and numerous other governmental debts totaling over $75 Trillion. So, everybody wants out of debt, but there is only $3.8 Trillion ($753 Billion in 02/06) in currency in the whole U.S. economy, so something doesn't add up, right? Let’s get to the bottom of it.  Be a patriot not just for the country,  but a patriot for your brothers and sisters and help spread the word about this corrupted instituion that is still being operated today.  People, especially blacks, need to know the truth.

Southside, Our peoples don't have a clue...You will never hear the topics talked about on BET. People speak from emotions and froma paradigm that they are allowed to think in. Anything outside the box will seem strange and foreign...

I thought the show was mediocre at best. Really was put off by Ilyanla Vanzants' thinking. Especially her comment about Obama quoting a scripture from the Bible; was Sen. Obama suppose to quote from the Koran or perhaps from one of her books? Really Ms. Vanzant, you really made me smile knowing I had never wasted a dime on any of your books. He quoted from the Bible, which is a book that his faith is rooted in, not the entire U.S. population. Thought KRS was very clear and gave the most comprehensive answers. The show is only 30 minutes, so they couldn't stay on one topic long enough to thoroughly discuss each topic. I think I will continue to watch Bill Maher on HBO, his show is much more diverse in thinking and just balance that with Jeff Johnson. I thought it was hilarious when KRS asked, "what's the issue". Because Jeff, you need to slow down in asking your questions, you jump from one issue to the next without any fluidity. Other than that, I give it a C. Hopefully with some improvements, it will reach A+ status. Keep up the good work.
