Kudos!

SWtearl if you lived near a BBQ joint, you might want to be in the proximity of a health clinic. Clog arteries is serious.

Re: Are church people over-weight?
This post, i felt needed to be resurrected. And getting back to the main question of point, YES - like everyone else in the US... the majority of Church folk ARE overweight. Unfortunately, the ratio of fit to fat in the church does not reflect accurately the condition of the nation. It is actually worse in the Church.I just watched my recording (DVR) of the Stellar awards and was pretty disgusted and saddened by what I saw. Ministers... our leaders that display such a lack of self control and /or laziness (no everyone does NOT have thyroid issues). I want soooo badly to help.Problem that I have found is that as Christian's we seem to have taken a vow of "physical poverty" then blame God when we die. I am soooo tired of hearing "I guess it was just her time" or "God called Him Home." Cutting your life short because of the sin and disobedience in your life is NOT GOD'S FAULT! I get a little riled up about this subject. I've lost too many family members and friends behind this mess. Take care of yourselves. Get up and DO SOMETHING. Eat better, more often. I love BBQ as much as the next person. But God is not through with me yet and I had to decide that the work was more important than my desire for burnt ends. PEACE  -

Re: Are church people over-weight?
The longer you live, you realize that each body has a given form or shape or a created form or shape. How a person's body has been shaped or formed or created is beyond the control of the person. However, too much fatness or obesity is not healthy. In the Bible it is written that whom the Lord loves, the Lord makes that person fat or slightly overweight as a sign of HIS LOVE for that person. So, a perfectly shaped or perfect looking temporary earthly body is not the aim of the LOVE OF GOD for the person or persons whom GOD LOVES: Psalm 23:2.
