I thing BET should talk about HIV&AIDS more because to many many people dying from HIV and I thing is time for us to Talk about it More, because If we dont keep talking about it more, more people going to get Infected, and we dont need that, and I dont thing BET should talk about it only in DECEMBER, I thing bet need to talk about it eveyday , because every day samebody getting Infected or they dying from AIDS, and is still a lot of young people who dont thing AIDs is real antill it happen to them thats way we have to talk about eveyday, and we have to have more commercial's about it, and I dont thing someone have to have HIV to talk about, because I dont have HIV and I love to talk about and I love to help who have it because HIV,it can happen to anyone of us thats why we have to care about each other, and belive it or not I see people scare to talk about, and I dont understand why we scare to talk about  samething thats taking over the world , we need to talk more about it, talk to your friend, mother, boyfriend, girlfrind, talk to who ever just dont be scare to talk about it because HIV is not scare to Infected you. and Am even writing a movie call HOPE&VICTOR the movie is about a young girl who was in love with a married men and later on she Find out He give her HIV,is more to it and am have a talk show that talk about sex. so if you need me to pray with u, or you want to talk to me or you scare to go get a HIVtest , be free to ask meQuestion email me brandy_janvier@yahoo.com  because I care , and my name is brandy

They should talk about it more.  But action speak louder than words.  I wish they would show a disclaimer or just show the videos less that are about risky behaviors.  My uncle's boyfriend died of AIDS back in the 90s and that was so sad.   That got me taking it seriously.   I wish more people would take it seriously because most can't afford the drugs, etc that Magic Johnson can.   I'll never try IV drugs or have unprotected sex, etc.   I can see why it's very bad in our community.  When I think of the baby momma/daddy drama, I start thinking, I hope they were tested for HIV before they continue to spread it (if they had/have it).

I definitely agree that far too many lives are being lost to HIV/AIDS. AIDS is the leading cause of death in BLACK women 25-34 years of age which means African American teens and women in their early twenties are contracting HIV at a greater rate than any other age group and race. A country that can put a man on the moon can definitely do more to educate people about HIV/AIDS. And we have to take on the responsibility of educating ourselves and each other as well. I agree. The spread of HIV will never stop because there are too many ignorant selfish men out there not loving themselves. If you don't care about yourself- why would you care what diseases you are spreading around. Black women need to be very careful. I know so many intelligent Black women who have great careers, a nice house, and great future. One thing they don;t have though is a faithful loving husband. Many of them are just baby-mothers and are still sleeping with their ex's. They are intelligent but at the same time desperate. It's so hard to find a Black man these days many Black women settle for the dogs. They become so sexually frustrated that they would sleep with a man without a condom if a man requested. Some even settle for men straight out of Jail. The African American community has many issues and HIV is on top of the list. Black women- Please use condoms. I know it is hard for us when it comes to our love lives and all the issues that we have to go through, but stay strong, aware, and assure of oneself.
