Will the awards show air online? I'll be in Rockport Texas for business with no access to cable. Anyone know if the show will be aired, i hate watching the show after it airs.

Yay, I liked when Alicia brought SWV, En Vogue, and TLC out (together). She had a really, really good performance.

Re: BET Awards '08
Sorry I was disappointed with this years show. Why do you all continue to select people like Missy E, Kobe B, and Halle B for this awards every year when most of these people don't bother to show up. I expect D.L to be funnier he was messing up and the joke were not funny. Rev. Al Green was great and funny. Maxwell looked great. Lil Wayne, Luda, Rick Ross, and T-Pain Flo Rida etc were great. Neyo performance was the best then Chris B and Ciara tore it up got real nasty and Usher was okay. It seem like nobody tried. Keisha Cole was okay but should have left the family at home because Frankie and Neffie were an embarrassment to her. Lil Kim looked healthy. The reunion were okay with SWV, Envogue, but what happen to T-Boz voice. I didn't like how Alicia didn't like her cutting in when SWV, and Envogue were singing but that was nice Please let Monique host next year honor those that have been down and true with BET not people that you want to give something to just because

The performances are really what made the show good. It was good for Usher to open the show. BET you know you wrong, when Rihanna performed, all the camera did was cutaways to Chris singing her song. They can deny it all they want, we know they together. To see Chris and Ciara dance was crazy. Weezy is well....just Weezy. Nothing needs be said about him. Alicia always does it big, this year is for the ladies with TLC, SWV and En Vogue. I think Keyshia could have done better. Al Green's performance was amazing, Anthony Hamilton and Maxwell, I love them.
The one surprise was Ne-Yo: The dancing was good. I'm surprised to see the Jabbawockeez (those that have seen America's Best Dance Crew know who they are)(for those that don't, the guys with the white masks after Ne-Yo jumped off the stage)

My favorite highlight was Chris Brown and Ciara and I don't even like Lil Wayne, but his performance was pretty good. Rihanna and Marvin Sapp was excellent as well. I was disappointed in the Alicia Keys performance with En Vogue, SWV and TLC. It was flat. It was good to see them all, but it didnt do anything for me. Maybe if they had each sang a little longer. Envogue looked great though.. Usher was boring and a waste of time, Keyshia Cole's vocals were strained. She can't sing live ver well or at all really. Lil Kim was great. Nelly looked good, not feeling the sound though. Everything else was mediocre or sub-par. It didn't have the ummmph that it needed. Overall I'd give it a C- and that's being generous. Maybe 2009 will be better.
I WAS SO PROUD OF BET WITH THEIR SUPPORT OF BARACK OBAMA. THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL. ESPECIALLY DURING THE PERFORMANCE BY MARVIN SAPP. I HAD CHILL BUMPS, I ALREADY KNOW I WILL BE WITNESSING HISTORY WHEN OBAMA IS PRESIDENT BUT IT WAS WONDERFUL THAT OTHERS RECOGNIZED IT AS WELL.

The awards dissapointed again in my opinion..
I'll make this quick..Usher could have done better for a opening act.
D.L was ok,but not as funny as i hoped he would be.I guess it's time to call monique back..
Keysha cole sounded terrible live, and i loveeeeeeeeeeeeee me some keysha cole..Her last album stayed in my cd player for over 2 months straight, but she was so off tonight..She seemed very nervous and unsure of what she wanted to do..She kept having to look back at her dancers to see if she was on track with them, and thats something she should automatically know..she's not capable of singing and dancing at the same time..I would buy her album anyday, but i would never go see her perform live..
Alicia keys was ok,but swv was a hot mess..I would not recognize any of them if i saw them on the street..They have let themselves go,not that they were all that great looking from the start..
Tlc still looks great, but sounded dry..
Envouge looks greatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Those women still look and sound good. You go girls..I hope swv is not planning a comeback anytime soon..
Neyo brought sum different and he put it down with his lil soft ***..
marvin sapp marvin sapp marvin sapp..GREATNESS!
chris and rihanna look great together..Rihanna sounds great live..Her voice is really pretty..They both kept there performances simple and nice..
All the rappers were ok but nothing to brag about..
The awards were not good enough for me to wach them again..The bet awards just haven't been the same since that year rick james was there..They have went downhill every since then..

I have to agree with you on some things like Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole, Al Green tribute, and T-Pain, but as far as Marvin Sapp (the song is a little overplayed to me). It wasn't that big a deal this year. Don't know why but it couldv'e been a lot better.
