What Do You recommend?
I use optimum oil therapy hair produces. I wash and deep condition my hair ever week(on Saturdays). An  I started clipping my ends every other relaxer. But I noticed that my edges are coming out. I making sure the relaxer is washed out completely. So  I guess  my question is what do you think it is?

Re: What Do You recommend?
I've not relaxed my hair in a very long time, but I would put vaseline on my edges.   It helped that I quit getting the super relaxers (my last 1 was a kid or mild relaxer) and to opt for the minimum time they said leave it on (if it says from when you start leave it on 10-15 minutes, then when you start, set a timer for 10 minutes and when it goes off start rinsing it out and do your edges last).   Hope that helps.  Try using Glover's Mane to help grow your edges back.  Remember, not to continuously wear any hair accessories that are in contact with the edges.

Thanks stereo. That do sound like a plan. Whats crazy is I don't wear head bands. Not since I was a teenager and that was many years ago. Other then my scarf that I put on before I lay down. Do you think it may be the say I sleep? Because the side that I lay on is mainly the side is coming out.

My sister hair did the same thing. We ultimately had to get her hair cut short because her hair was dead not only on the ends. But now her hair has grown back and it looks beautiful. A lot of people cut their hair short when its really damaged and start all over. A lot of times also you can be over relaxing your hair. How often do you get a relaxer? I wait almost 2 months in between my relaxers and my hair has been steady growing.

Re: What Do You recommend?
I usually wait six weeks before I put them in. An thats when I put the hot oil in and definally deep condition it then. But when I'm washing the relaxer out I use up the little package that comes with and and then use the bottle of neutralizing shampoo. An do all of the other things to make sure its out. But I changed what I was using an uses olive oil products and so far its working. An I like the texture of my hair.

You might want to try Dr. Miracle too. I just started using it because I saw it on TV and on College Hill and I've been hearing a lot about it...I really cant tell a difference cuz I've only used it once, but my hair is softer and full or body. I'll let you know after a couple more times of using it.

Dr. Miracle's products are really good.  My edges came out after I had my daughter (hormonal changes), I used Dr. Miracle's growth oil and they've grown in nicely.  Also, it could be the style you wear- Try not to put too much strain on your hair, ie tight ponytails and braids.
