THE DELTA REGION IS SUFFERING BECAUSE OF CORRUPT POLITICIANS AND GREEDY OILMEN.. THE MONEY REALISED IS NOT GOING TO WHERE IT BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE THAT OWN THE LAND... ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY AND THE OIL... AND SINCE ITS NOT FLOWING THE WAY IT USED TO GET READY TO SPEND MORE MONEY FOR YOUR GAS ... THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES HAVE ALWAYS EXISTED TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF THE FIRST AND DEVELOPED WORLD..THATS WHY I DONT FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE LIVING IN A DEVELOPED SOCIETY... MAKE THE MOST OF IT..THERE ARE THOSE WHO DONT HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER.

The soultion is to boycott the gas for just one day. If eveyrone in the country ceased to buy gas for just one day, the oil/gas companies would fail in a serious way. That's all it takes, really, is one day. However, the problem is that there's no way everyone would agree to this and not buy gas for a day.

The real reason gas prices are high is because we pay more than 100 for a barrel of oil. also when we get the oil here in the states it has to be refined and all of the oil refineries we have were built in the....well the newest one if more than 40 years old. these old and out dated refineries can not operate as efficiently as they need to in order to keep up with our huge demand. we can't update these refineries or build new ones because of the democrat environmental nutties. also there are millions of gallons of oil in Alaska that we could drill for, however; we can't because it's on an animal reserve and democrats (not all just the crazy ones) believe that the American people shouldn't mind paying 4 dollars a gallon for gas so we can save the caribou. (4 LETTER SWERE)the caribou. also these oil corporations only make about 7 cents for every gallon sold the Fed makes about 20 cents soooo I think that sometimes our anger is misplaced. also the big wigs in Washington (namely Hilary) are bouncing around the idea of raising the taxes of these oil companies and that sounds good...stickin' to the "man".....but who's going to pay that higher price....WE ARE.....ask anyone who runs a business, one of the thins you do is pass as much of your costs on to the consumer, duh.--------------------------also everyone abstaining from buying gas for a day is not going to do anything. to have any kind of impact everyone would have to boycott for a month or more...who can go a month without buying gas.....I can but i live on campus and i only leave once a week for groceries
