They do seem to have their thang together better than any other religion. I'm not Islamic or Muslim and I notice how Americans black and white alike seem to be intimidated by them. While we worship one day a week, they worship every day of the week. They seem to take their religion much more seriously than Americans. They definitely stick to their doctrine more faithfully than we do as we'll do every sin in the book on Saturday night, then act like nothing happened on Sunday. Our we jealous of that? The American black muslim seem to have their act together better than the non-muslim black too. They dress nice, they eat well, their skin looks better and like Islam in the middle east they worship more and take it more seriously. I dunno, since we're at war with them and making them the "bad guy" (like Farrakhan for instance) it makes me wonder why (besides the terrorist issue). It seems the truth hurts for Americans in general. Is this another example?

I haven't noticed that, but I might be a little jealous of the muslim women having a good fine man!lol. I'd get with a brother but I love ham and bacon a little too much.

A bacon and egg sandwich lightly toasted with the chesse melted on the egg with a thin veil of mayo on the toast....See, lemme stop!!! Yeah their women are fine too. Back on subject though, I think the Muslims are positive role models to the black community. They are pro-black, they don't drink, do drugs or smoke and speak for upliftment of blacks in America. More so then a Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. The reason I use the word "jealous" is I look at what they did to Muhammad Ali. We were robbed of three years of his boxing career (while in his prime). All because he embraced the Muslim religion. If he hadn't have done that, I feel the powers to be wouldn't have even bothered him so when it came to not fighting in the war. So just because Farrakhan said some anti-semitic statements (supposedly) we as blacks are supposed to forget the positive side of him because were Americans? All I have to say to that is look what they did to Joe Louis. If I would question anything is why do they let Mexicans be in the NOI? It tripped me out seeing bald head Mexican men wearing suits with bowties trying to sell me a copy of "final call" and a bean pie. Are they running out of black men???

I personally have no reason to be jealous of Muslims. I'm happy with who I am and what I'm about, even though I'm not religious.

And while alot of Muslims do good in the community, I question the motives of some of them, especially after this local story from a while back.

A 19-year-old handyman at Your Black Muslim Bakery admitted to police Friday night that he ambushed and killed Oakland Post editor Chauncey Bailey, investigators said.

Police said Devaughndre Broussard told them he killed Bailey because he was angry over stories the journalist had written about the bakery, its employees and leaders in the past. Investigators said Broussard also was concerned about stories that he thought Bailey might be working on.

Bailey had apparently been working on a story about the group and its finances, authorities said.

Broussard made the admission to Sgts. Derwin Longmire and Lou Cruz. Broussard had been arrested at his home Friday morning in the 1000 block of 59th Street in Oakland, where police recovered the shotgun that they believe was used to kill Bailey the day before.

Man I stopped eatting pork about 4 years ago...stopped eatting red meat at that time too.  Now the only meat I eat is turkey, chicken and fish.  That ground turkey is good...make turkey burgers, meatloaf, chilli

I am glad you posted it also because there is so much truth in it. Before I start; for the record I would like to say that the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan is not anti-semetic. If you look up the definition of semite you will see it refers to the people in the middle eastern part of the Earth, which is for sure not only Jews. They are a small percentage. Jesus also told the Jews they are of their father the devil. (Which can be proven out of the Bible) Our people dont understand who controls this world. Rich greedy Jewish bankers control this world. (ex: Rothschild, Greenspan, Wolfowitz)

Our people get angry with us because they believe we do not believe in Jesus. We love Jesus. Jesus saved my life. Not the white, stringing haired, blue eyed Jesus, but a real live 2008 Black man with the same qualities as the Jesus in the scriptures if we only but understand. This has everything to do with why we take our life and religion seriously. We know that the people in the scriptures were people who would be alive present day and not so much as an ancient people from the past. There is a Savior among us in our midst and our people are so mentally deaf, dumb, and blind that they can not see him. (So very sad.)

The Nation of Islam doesnt believe in "spookism". We believe that everything in exsistance can be proven mathematically and scientifically. We believe that Allah (God) appeared to us in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad and He taught the Hon. Satan has ruled this world for 6000 yrs. and the time is up for the truth to come out and now that it is out, people mock us and hate us for telling it. Obviously we would be buried in lies and the only power is the knowledge of the truth.

Our works bear witness that we have came into the truth. For those who hear these teachings their lives are transformed almost over night. We want to stop the drug use, alcohol abuse, fornicating, adultery, dope selling, and womanizing after knowing who we really are. This is why we initially wear an "X" after our names. The "X" is matchematics stands for the "unknown". It can be a varible of any number. We dont know our names, our culture, or our religon any more. The white man stripped us of that when he brought us here. Wearing the "X" also represents us "X"-ing out the former sick Negro's of sin we used to be.

The true baptism is the baptism and cleansing of your mind from the former things you used to think and feel. Not being dipped in water only to be brougt out the same fool you were when you went in it. Islam dignifies and repairs the dead mind of the Black man and all the original peoples of the Earth. Latino's hear the truth and they recognize it and quickly fall in the ranks because they know a Savior has been born. They are Original people too and they are our brothers and sisters also. As women we are taught to cover ourselves and leave something to the man's imagination. A woman's body is like kryptonite to a man. How can they be providers and maintainers if they are constantly looking at the beauty of a woman's adornments? The female is sacred and our sisters have lost their shame. They must be retaught in a righteous manner of the majesty of their wombs.

Eating swine is divinely prohibited in all religions. In the book of Leviticus is clearly states that pigs should not be consumed. Do you all know what eating pigs will do to your body? They carry worms that infest and grow in your intestinal tract.

It also detroys the cardiovascular systems. Blacks lead in heart attacks & strokes because we consume so much swine. Once  a person has a heart attack or stroke the doc always tells them after it's too late to stop eating pork. You are what you eat. Pigs are the dumbest animals on the planet. They will eat their own *** and slop. If you eat that, your thinking and appearance will be staright garbage.

This is why Muslims seem to be more attractive looking in appearance. Getting off the swine makes you look a lot better. Headaches clear up. The whites of your eyeballs clear up. You'll lose wieght. Also when you combine it with eating the right spiritual food, you will begin to glow and look beautiful. ; )

Pigs are agrafted animal. a combination between dog, cat, and mouse. This is in the Bible and The Holy Quran also. It can be proven.
