Well I missed about an hour of the so - and from hearing all the comments about Usher & Keyshia Cole I'm kinda glad I did....but I did DVR it so I guess I'll check it out.... I did love NeYo's performance - I was happy to see him bring out the Jabbawockeez but I just wish TV would give them more than 5 minutes shee*73* after winning america's best dance crew they surely deserve it!!!! T-Pain & his whole ringleader act was good to see but seriously - Flo Rida...him n his lip syncin *** should not have been up there go*73* I was happy to see Big Boi & Luda came out actually rapping not lip syncing...that's how it should be done!!!!! Alicia Keys - I was glad to see her do her thing but dang how the heck did she fit into those pants!!!?? lol...she looked good tho - I was happi to see her bring out SWV when she first started singing that song I was like oh come on...this is not your song stop singing but when SWV showed up I was like omg!! but then I seen them n I was like wow!! they really gained some weight...and seeing the original En Vogue was just HOT!!! those ladies still look and sound good its great!!!! TLC I was happi to see them but I could tell it was kind of emotional for them to be performing that song since Lefteye is no longer here with us.... Chris Brown & Ciara was HOT!!! I loved his water backdrop that was very nice...Even tho Rihanna's performance was simple I loved it - I mean people are complaining she could've done more but really what else could she have done for that song...I thought it was good - her voice was great! and the emotion for the song was there just like it was in the video...... Nelly - I was glad Ashanti decided not to do her song cuz nobody wants to hear her - im glad she let Fergie & Ciara do their thang cuz after seeing Ciara dance I was like das it!!! nooo she has to come back n I was glad she did even tho I really didn't like the performance that much....Fergie looked good - but is she pregnant or something her stomach was looking not as thin as it usually looks but she did her thing tho! Lil Weezy great performance as well!!! DL Hughley not funny not all!!! but then again never really found him to be that funny in the first place....all he ever does is repeat his jokes The Niecy Nash skit was really not called for..... Some parts of the show was jus corny..... And what the heck was up with the BET After Party - that ish looked wack az hell...like when you think after party you know a crowd of people having fun...like seriously that was no after party that was a get together....

I am trying to find the names of the songs that were being played while they were doing the tribute to Al Green.  Not the ones that the artist performed, but while they where talking about his achievements.Please help me out if you can.Thanks

Hands down, Ciara and Chris Brown are the BEST dancers in the industry right now to me.  Their performance was HOT!...no...ON FIRE!!!

Al Green TORE the house down...loved it.

Maxwell did his thing as well.  He just oozes sexy.

Ne-yo should have been the opening act because Usher just did aight to me. 

Marvin Sapp sang my song....."Never Would Have Made It".....OOOOWEEEEE!!!

Envogue looked and sounded GREAT!

Although I am not really a fan of Lil Wayne, I have to say, he did his thing and ended the show off right.  He had me up and dancing in my living room...lol.

None of the acts were really bad, but as for some of the clothing, here is my ugly:

Ashanti, sorry, didn't like the dress or hair. She needs to fire her stylist immediately...and if she is stying herself, she needs to stop pronto.

T-Pain, nuff said.

Lil Kim....NO more plastic surgery please.  She used to be such a pretty girl.

SWV...I luv them, but they looked like they were stuffed into their outfits....not flattering at all.

Alicia Keyes is beautiful as well, but her pants were just too tight during her performance...and I don't mean that in a good way...very unflattering for her shape.

Usher, please get off your high horse. You are very talented, but nobody likes a vain person...bring it down a notch.

Finally, I never really cared for D.L. Hughley, and I still don't.  Niecy Nash would have been a better host to me...at least her little skit thing about adopting white kids was somewhat funny.

The BET awards was ok, but it could have been better. Half the people who won awards didn't show up. The same people kept on winning awards over and over, and I just got tired of it. D.L Hugley was o.k for the most part, but I was really hoping for Monique to come back at Beyonce once again dancing to her songs. Monique was the *73* two years in a row for dancing to Beyonce songs. Katt Williams who have made a better host, or maybe Chris Rock or Tucker. Keyshia Cole was alright, I liked her song but it sounded like she was nervous sanging in front of thousands of people. My favorite performaces was by Chris Brown, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Nelly. Not too many people I thought would perform would didn't, it sucked. That show was aight, but it could have been better.

Rihanna isn't a singer or much of a performer for that matter. She sounded horrible and was tryin way to hard... for nothin. And for the song to be one of the top in the country...

Please pick a better host next year.  Do not select D.L Hughley again!  He was awful!  Keshia Cole's performance was ok.  Her family needs to stay home and out of the spotlight.  Why is Lil Wayne everyone?  I don't think he is talented at all.  By far I loved the Al Green tribute, Alicia Keyes ( the women of the 90s) and Marvin Sapp.  I missed Ne-Yo's performance.  I agree to stop giving out awards to people who can't manage to show up and accept the award.

This awards show was not up to part. The men did a good job this year for the most part. None of the females can sing  good live. Ms keys am sorry but how can u bring on sum of the best females groups and u where never in one, why r u trying so hard to be like my girl BEE . I think in order for a bet's awards show or any other one to be Good, my girl BEYONCE needs to be headlineing ever thing. She can sing, dance, act, and so much more and she brings a tru and rear blesssing to any thing that she is apart off . thanks so much for your beeing cause these other females aint got s*** on u b@@.

If you don't think Rihanna can sing then you are crazy because that girl can sing and she is a great performer.....I thought that she sounded great and she was not trying hard - it was a simple performance for a simple song and it's one of the top in the country because a lot of girls can unfortunately relate to exactly where she is coming from.... And as far as Alicia Keys trying to be like Beyonce definitely not true - if you notice most of Alicia Keys performance she is always bringing back someone or some people that we aint see in years.....

Let me start off by saying I don't know what time frame this award criteria is determined by, but for hip-hop female artist Missy should not have got that one.  She has not dropped anything.  That single off her upcoming able is hot, but come on.  This should of been for those grinding from the time frame of after last years awards up until last month or something.  I don't know who makes the final decision, but they need to come better next year.  It's time for Keyshia to get an award and last night it should have been her winning one.  Also, Soldier Boy in the new artist category again this year, NO.  What's up with that.  If  FLO-Rida made it to the new artist category then of course Plies should have been in that category as well, not soldier boy again.  The show was very entertaining, but some of those awards went to the wrong people.  Congratulations to all winners and those that did not, continue your success, yours is coming.  Much Love BET!

over all the think the show was good...but next year i would like to see monique host the show again.....also the performances was all ok in my opinion, i think alicia keys was the best!! ok now i think that trina should have won in her catagory, i also think that lil wayne should have won best male rap artist cause the  he was the BEST MALE RAP artist this past year real talk, i like kanye as well but BET should not have gave him that award in fear of him spazzin out if they gave it to wayne!!! but people everything that i just said is my opinion so please resect it

The BET awards were...ok. I was kinda switching between channels during some of the performances, but I really enjoyed Ne-Yo's performance. I think he had the best performance of the night. Although I was looking forward to Ne-Yo or Raheem DeVaughn to win RnB Male, I REALLY enjoyed Chris Brown's performance. He did his thing. :) It was good to see Jill, Anthony, and Maxwell...Al Green too. (Maxwell still looks good) The opening performance wasn't what I expected it to be. That's all I'll say about that. Ummm...what else...oh, the Alicia Keys performance. Seeing all the girl groups from the 90's was a pretty cool thing. Enjoyed that. I think those are all of the highlights for me. The other performances were cool...but nothing memorable. I'll put it like that. Props to BET for the support of Obama. yay!:)
