You seem intellgent. I heard someone mention Adam and Eve. However modern day scholars date Adam and Eve back 6000 maybe 7000 thousand years at the latest. The oldest person on the planet is a Black Woman dated at 3.2 Million years old.

There are those that are ruled by fear and beleif as opposed to knowing... I had a interesting converstaion with some Jehova's Witnesses that came by my home over the weekend.  I think the two young brotha's will take some serious knowledge back to their peoples. As a matter of fact they were asking me questions for clarity on what was in the bible...I am here for my FAM always!

I would almost guarantee that they never looked at the videos provided by the brotha Amen Ausar Ra on within the meet the faith section.  I know after they were presented the whole meet the faith section went silent for weeks.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.  Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.  They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 

Mila, hopefully you have a clear answer in your mind regarding your original question. If not please respond a second time. But in order to believe the Bible, you must believe that it is true. You must believe that God is THE GOD of this world, You must believe that Jesus is The SON of GOD, you must believe that the Holy Spirit is the SPIRIT of Truth. You must believe that the writers of the bible received the words that they wrote from GOD by the Holy Spirit. (Its like anything else you believe to be true, you just know its true - before you sit in your chair, you just sit down - because you believe it is going to hold you up). Its that way, when you believe the things of GOD - its like one writer said - you believe because you have a relationship with Him. You must believe that God is the author and finisher of ALL things - even the things that you believe in as well as those that you don't believe in (as crazy as that sounds!) Some one asked me once "What do you have to lose by not believing in the Bible?" and then I asked myself "What do I have to lose by believing in the bible?" My answer was "If there is eternal life after this life and I do not believe the Bible - then I've lost out on an eternal life that is going to be a million more times better and longer than this one". So I started believing and I sit in chairs, everyday! And it's not because anyone made me - I choose to.
