No. My job hasn't moved overseas because made sure to not specialize myself in the job market. I made sure to acquire various marketable skills. Gas prices don't bother me. You go elsewhere in the world, gas has been over $5.00 for years. Paying $3.79 doesn't bother me, because gas is still cheaper here than it is in Germany, England, Japan, South Korea, etc. No kids to sacrifice. McCain said he didn't love America until he had to suffer without it. That means he now has a true appreciation for this country. In the meantime Michelle Obama didn't like the country simply because "people are mean" and didn't appreciate this country until her commie husband got a chance to ruin it. You say Barack is not a socialist, but he is. His wife has already spilled the beans. I'm sure if Barack didn't have such good handlers, he would have spilled them as well.

As for McCain saying he didn't love America until he was captured, that's okay. That's because when you lose something, I can appreciate someone who is honest enough to say they have a greater appreciation for it when they get it back. Michelle on the other hand never lost America. She's always been here benefitting from it's greatness. She went to great schools, ate good food, and was able to raise two children in a two parent home. No one ever held her in chains, beat her, or shot at her. So it comes off as being pretty arrogant for her to say she's finally proud of something that's always been here for her. Her so-called struggle is nothing, because thousands of others have accomplished much more and have always been proud of their country. As for the GI bill that's too generous, that's an understatement. It equates to nothing more than bribing people to join the military. Personally, i'd rather someone do the job because they actually want do it as opposed to just doing it for the benefits.

If you're a christian and you believe Luke 12:28, then by all means, give your money away. However, the rest of us should not be forced to give ours to charity, whether we have one million dollars or one trillion dollars.  In regards to being proud of her country, Michelle's exact words were, "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country." There was no "really" in there. But you are right. She is different than McCain. While Micelle was sitting warm and safe in her house, McCain didn't even know if he was ever going to see his home again. You say that there are people serving the country because they want to, but there are some who will just do it for the money. McCain plans to maintain the integrity of the armed forces and not turn it into global equivalent of "mall security" where you just have people "doing a job".

My thing is this: Why vote for a guy like McCain, when he deliberately told us that he plans on keeping us in the war - when in truth, THE WAR is the main factor that ALL America, every culture including black folk, is suffering right now. Obama plans to bring us out of this mess and if ya'll listen to his speeches, he tells us how he does it instead of the approach Clinton and McCain tell us - "We're gonna fix it!" - HOW ***!
