Yes, I'm a white dude - and a huge jazz fan. But I've always reveled in the fact that jazz transcended racial boundaries. Indeed, the show on just now features Chris Thile - of Nickel Creek fame. Man, you can't get whiter than that. But I'm watching the promos for next season's programming, and I'm thinking it's far more about the "black", and far less about the "jazz". C'mon BET - don't do this; there's so little good jazz programming on TV.
