i brought up the illegal alien issue because it is the main reason for this problem. i grew up in l.a. and compton. this brown on black bs wasn't there. this problem came about primarily because the population of mexicans grew. people know there's power in numbers. but it grew to the extent it has by unnatural means, that is to say, by MILLIONS of illegals breaking into this country from mexico and south america. that is just a fact. it didn't grow by birth rate alone, that would be impossible. you already know that. i lived in l.a. 15 years. so mexicans started getting extra bold saying there's more of them than us, and now trying to act like they're greater than us, because they grew in numbers illegally and unnaturally. where i grew up there was majority blacks, much less mexicans and a few samoans and it was that way for a long time. until more and more illegals broke in. now the neighborhood is all mexican. i try to talk to them they don't even speak english. that's not a 10th gen mexican. i'm not talking about mexican u.s. citizens, i have them in my fam and they don't speak spanish, they speak english. your secrets already out. no need to try to hush me. people already know what's going on.

Black people get it through your heads that many Latino people never liked blacks anyway.  They think whites accept them better and want it to stay that way.  The government isn't doing much to stop this genocide!

I always hate to touch on this topic because I feel that I come off as feeling supreme or being racist. However, mexicans are racists. I can't say all or I'd be a fool. I feel this way because my best friend in middle school was mexican from east LA. We were both from LA, but I'm from inglewood. The other girls we hung out with were always able to go spend the night at her house. one day one of the girls asked why I couldn't come over and they kept it f.unky, her mom wouldn't allow me too. Before I knew her my friend that lived in my complex wasn't allowed to have black friends ovver. The only black person allowed in thier house was my brother because he had their sons back. Ain't that some bull.***? Plus if you interact with them then see the way they act with other races, your brain will spark. I only trip because they listen to our music and try to come out with chicano rap and reggaeton, wear black owned clothing labels, say *6* etc but have the nerve to be racist.

In my personal experience I saw alot of Brotha's and Sista's in school messing around, rather than doing the work. I pushed myself because I wasn't going to do the same. One of the guys we knew couldn't be in school for another year because he was getting too old for the age bracket. He played alot, and it was like "you're willing to piss on getting your diploma because you want to act like a fool", he didn't say a thing in response to that. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The gangs that cracked the Civil Rights movement are still going strong while our education decreases even further. Knowledge is a sword and shield and parents need to push that hard so their kids are understanding its importants. So many parents are out trying to do their own thing, and while thats cool, you had a child that you need to mold and prepare for their own trials and tribulations. I don't know what we are going to do when the rest of the Civil Rights leaders start to pass away. ------------------------------------------------------------------- We have the lowest percentages in school in practically all subjects and it sickens me. It doesn't matter what school you go to, if a parent goes in and lets the teacher know that they are their for their child for the better of their education, and the child pushes for any and all information (because some teachers actually try to withhold information). In my personal experience I had to put a teacher on the spot because she said there was no extra credit available until the teacher's pet asked for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------- There was no way they were going to get it if it was not available for anyone else, he didn't have the highest GPA (I did), but I didn't gain it because I was trying to compete. Its simply about me doing your all out best and benefitting from it. I received a referral to the office in another class because I didn't want to move to the reassigned seat. The new seat was in the middle of a bunch of students that didn't value their education, while my preferred seat was in a calm side of the classroom. ------------------------------------------------------------------- We don't have to accept everything, becuse we don't have to do anything except remain the race we are GIFTED and die. I told him that I wasn't going to move over there and have my education interrupted, when I can simply stay over here and continue to succeed. ------------------------------------------------------------------- I did have a scholarship slip through my fingers because the faculty over that department withheld the information when I asked. My teacher had to go get it for me, on the day it was due (she had to tell me about it after class because she cursed him out). ------------------------------------------------------------------- Our experience obviously will not be the same, but you have to get your education by all means. Ask 101 questions during an assignment, and you will get 101 answers for better comprehension. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Education opens our eyes even further, and increase our flexibility and know how in situations because we are adding tools to our tackle box (metaphorically speaking) so that we can increase the unique way we think and solve problems. You will start to notice a difference in the things our race accepts, and the way we treat eachother, because the fight will change from fighting eachother, to fighting for whats right.

Alot of individuals don't care for us (but we agree, not all), but they are walking talking rap videos. I see it all day in Miami, I saw this snood Cuban woman that acted as if her crap didn't stink, she spoke to the friends of this sista but didn't speak to her. Her phone rung and the ring tone was "Snoop Dogg's - I wanna **** you". ------------------------------------------------------------------- It was such a mix match, but loving our entertainment, has nothing to do with having love for us. I've received disrespect in Miami quite a bit, so it is a fight (not my home city obviously), I can't wait to get the hell out of here. I've had people walk in front of me in a line, like it is nothing. I had this woman at a food place to cancel this (cuban)womans order because she came in and walked right in front of me (there were people in back of me too). ------------------------------------------------------------------- She was actually taking her order, but stopped and cancelled it with an apology, and the lady looked at me and said "OMG" (like "how rude"). I looked at her and said "I need to be the one saying that". Answer me this: Who fought for Civil Right? < Who can come and look down on a race of people that fought for equal rights for all? Only to end up on the bottom of the totem pole in this country, its crazy, and United we Don't Stand. The only time we are united is when we are dying for this country at war. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone of African decent has to remember that we are different from others, we look different, built different, prefer different things (beyond the essentials). So things will not match up, European hairstyles, etc. Increase what is beneficial to you, not what others feel will help you to reform to their racial background (this goes for any race, none of this has anything to do with racism). ------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone you don't care for, brush them off, if you have to work with them, just keep it business based, other than that don't waste your time (you don't have to do under handed things like a rat would because you dislike, or hate someone or their race).

Yes, I have heard of all the violence going on between Latino gangs and black gangs in L.A., both in jail and on the streets. This form of "ethnic cleansing" is being ignored by the police who feel it is only making their jobs easier seesing as that they want poor black and latinos dead anyway. It sad because both African Americans and Latinos already have it hard in America without killing one another. But I do agree with Adonai89, that we as African Americans won't get along with any other race until we get along with eachother and get our act together as a race.

 

We have that same problem here in New York. It just depends on the area though. Everyone get pretty well, but there are certain people who don't. It's funny how when Latinos say they don't like black people, when deep down inside their bascially black too. When we look at each other we're like ok, you're here and so on. But when history takes us back, we all came from the same place. Honestly I don't see no difference between black and hispanics. I guess that's because I'm mixed, but I don't see no difference, because I still call myself black.
