Young beautiful black people, we have come to far for the light verse dark thing I know society plays the card but that is to intentionally keep us apart and at odds with one another. Beauty is not simply defined by your looks but by your character. Love yourself in spite of, and love yourself because. On a Baldwin Hills episode, someone on the show who was the comedian made a horrific joke here it is with the punchline....."I know I'm stupid, because I'm dark-skinned". Young people say a kind word of prayer for him because someone or something went wrong for him to feel that way about human beings of darker features. Pray that he comes to love himself as God made him, and see that love in others and that has nothing to do with race. He should know that 60% of the world contributions came from dark-skinned people who mustered in the lime-light of non-blacks who took the credit. I pray he marries white forbid that he kids suffer under that kind of racism and ignorance. This is why true black-history is importance for every life and limb that was taken because some ancestor wanted to learn to read and write that joke insulted them all. Young people you may want to marry outside your race that's fine, and you may not want to be defined with slavery past that's fine, but before slavery we existed in a land unto our own and was taken by force and not choice. Choose relationships because they are right for you, be mindful of your heritage and where you come from, not of slaves depressed and worn but of victors who held on for you.
