It is not an amputated stump. It is a regular penis with the foreskin cut off. And I have dated a man who was uncircumcised. And quite frankly I prefer the look and feel of a circumcised penis not to mention they taste better. Do I have a penis fetish?......well I am a woman, why not.

@Hadassah, this child is five at this point, he will maintain his hygiene, but as he becomes older and wants to be outdoors on a continous basis, it will begin to disintegrate.  Our child is more than aware that he must clean himself properly, we've embedded this within him, but he finds it a hassle because he wants to be outside with his board and his friends.  I'm not from Africa or Asia, Canada, etc. I was born and bred within the United States and I'd prefer that my child be circumcised.  Not only this, but in many foreign countries, those who aren't wealthy and are bred within poverty have no access to medical treatment.  Half of them aren't given the opportunity to have their sons circumcised, especially with home and medicinal wives birthing these children.  I prefer a circumcised penis and the majority of women are in agreement with this.  It appears cleaner, first and foremost and there isn't the worry regarding underneath the skin.  I'd rather my children be snipped and any man I'm involved with be as well, period.

By the way, I've douched once within my life.  I don't recommend it and it's never been a procedure I've practiced on a continuous basis, so my opinion doesn't have to be laced with statistical facts for the point to be understood.  Snip the skin.

Men still have to clean the penis either way.  This makes no sense what so ever.

^^Read the statement carefully and completely before responding.  It made perfect sense, men with an uncircumcised penis have extra skin along the head.  If it isn't properly cared for on a daily basis meaning the skin's pulled and cleaned underneath, bacteria builds which may cause a bacterial or yeast infection that can be transmitted to the woman during intercourse.

I've never stated that because a man's circumcised, he doesn't have to properly care for his penis, that was the assumption based upon my response.

@Hugh, depending upon the browser, you must place spaces between the paragraphs.

As I stated, having my *** removed isn't a health concern and nothing that I'd ever entertain.  I musn't lift my clitoris to insure it's cleanliness, but a man who isn't circumcised must raise the skin and thoroughly clean the skin underneath otherwise dirt builds which causes bacteria which causes a yeast infection.  No woman must be involved for this to occur.  I refuse to state this again.

Insist doesn't mean that he must.

If my child has never experienced pleasure, he will never realize the difference.  Now, if a man chooses to circumcize himself as an adult, he'll understand and comprehend that the sensation may differ, but honestly, an orgasm is an orgasm is an orgasm.

Ladies, some of you don't seem to be familiar with what is entailed when a baby is circumcised, nor how an intact foreskin works, nor just how much is removed.    You speak as if every intact man will give you a yeast infection every time - he won't - and what are you going to do when you have a yeast infection and your partner is already circumcised?        I don't think many people will agree that "an orgasm is an orgasm is an orgasm". In fact I suspect many circumcised men never have an orgasm - just an ejaculation. With so little of the most senstive part left, they have to focus on reaching the end-point, and can't enjoy the journey.   The rest of the world (not just poor countries, but the Commonwealth, Europe, Scandinavia, South America, most of South East Asia, Japan, Russia, China) don't just leave our males intact because we can't afford it, but because the idea of cutting off part of a baby's genitals (boy or girl) is repugnant to us. The rest of the English-speaking world tried it, found it did no good and gave it up. The US is out on its own on this one.

Ive circumsized my boys but to each his own! Im not just going to turn down a man just cause he's not circumsized theres bigger problems to deal with in a relationship then just alittle extra foreskin!

Well I've never been with a man who was uncircumsized, so I can't say that being with one is a bad thing. I guess from a looks (and feeling) standpoint that a circumsized member would be better, and if an uncircumsized man sees a pattern as far as women not wanting to be with him sexually because he's uncircumsized, then maybe he should consider having the procedure done. But of course that would be his choice and decision to make. I'm positive that when parents consider having their baby boys circumsized that they are not thinking about the boy's sex life and how women would react to him 18 or so years down the road (at least I hope not). If anything it's a cosmetic procedure.

Shenellejax: As a man, I have a right to an opinion about having healthy, integral parts of future men's bodies cut off.  How would you like a board enthusiastically discussing men's preference for cutting parts of baby girls' bodies off that was "No women allowed"? ^^I understand this, but I reside within the United States of America and my male children will be circumcised.  Just as it is the custom within many foreign countries for them to allow the excess skin, it is typically the culture within this society for men to have the skin removed.
