Re: Keyshia Cole - Season Two
I second that. I always loved her. Even when she wasn't quite known as she is now. Back when Fantasia's first album dropped K. Cole was on alot of features. I downloaded everything I could from her at that point. People hated and said she didn't have a great voice. But, for me her vocals resonates with me and a whole lot of other people.
Kiesha and the people at BET, thank you for allowing a show like that to air on television because that IS the way it is in alot of homes. I respect and appreciate you all so much.
P.S. Kiesha keep Manny especially if he's the one that helps you stay balanced and professional amongst the chaos.

Re: Keyshia Cole - Season Two
I am so thankful to BET for this show! It is a very real portrayal of the realities of urban life! Thank God you are FINALLY showing us valuable, engaging and educational offerings on your station! Because I was very saddened by what was offered previously.......
Keyshia, you are a shining example of a strong Black woman. God will continue to bless and keep you for everything that you are doing to empower your family members. I love your spirit, and your talent.....but most of all, I love how you are sacrificing to show your family how to live their lives the right way!
You are a true role model.

Re: Keyshia Cole - Season Two
I am so in love with this show from watching just one episode. I didn't watch much of season 1 but season 2 has my full attention. I even had my husband watching it.
I hope Keyshia remains as grounded as she is now. I'm praying that her family is able to mend itself with all the love that is emanating from her soul. I hope they realize she is sacrificing alot by allowing them to move into her space. But at the same time I pray that she does not let them bring her down. If she sees that they are not willing to accept her help then she needs to let them go. Family or not. If your eye offends you, sometimes you gotta pluck it out. Tough love....

I say my girl can do it, cuz if she couldn't she wouldn't of moved her fam in with her. That's mad love like she was saying why not keep it in the family. If you got the money no point in trying to spend it all alone. Yeah, she's holding it down for her fam and they all gone work they situations out. Yeeeee!

I respect Keisha for bringing her Mom and Sister to ATL. The house if beautiful, the windows from the floor to the ceiling. The elegant dinners, new designer clothes. Days at the spa, the new teeth for Mom, the new hair for Sis. It's all good......or is it? I really hope this family gets in and STAYS in therapy because money doesn't change everything. Her Mom sat there and said she felt like she was in prison still. That is the reality of the whole thing. It is a sad reality but its so powerful. Having lots of money to a crack-user just means "all the crack you can consume, you can have". And having access to lots of money for an alcoholic that makes horrible choices and is suicidal means "all the alcohol you can consume, and all the ways to kill yourself you can concieve, you can have". I'm sure Keisha is smart enough to realize this. I love Keisha Cole and I have dreams of being able to do something wonderful for my family one day, but she cannot just let herself go because the only person that has really changed, or should I say, has to change is her. If they don't get therapy then I hate to say it but she has made her mom a "dressed up crack head" and her sister "a fashionable suicidal alcoholic". I hope I am sooooo wrong!!

A Friend for Frankie
Hello Keisha
Today was the 1st time I watched your show and I really enjoyed it. My heart goes out to Frankie. My name is AJ and I am a recovering addict. I really could relate to Frankie. When I found out I was an addict I was in sock. I was truly the last to know. Frankie I have a disease not a moral deficiency. There is hope for me at last. I found out that Addiction is a physical, mental and spirtual disease that affects every area of my life. Frankie I am not responsible for my disease but I am responsible for my recovery. I would really like to talk with Frankie, only because I know the feelings that she is feeling. Frankie we are more alike then different. I also have a daughter that is in recovery and a son that does nothing but work. Frankie you need to know that we make mistakes but we are not a mistake, we may fail but we are not failures. Frankie if you want relief from feeling like you're still locked up. Please get to a meeting right away. The only way to stay clean from addictive addiction is by not using, attending mtgs, and getting a sponsor. Abstinence from drugs does not equal recovery. You have to put your recovery 1st Frankie. You didn't become an addict overnight, so you cannot recover overnight its a process. You have taken the 1st step by not using. Know lets work on your recovery. Please email and get my phone number I would love to become apart of your net work Stay Strong AJ

Re: Keyshia Cole - Season Two
Hello, I am an avid Keyshia Cole fan. I pray she will read this, b/c she needs to know how her show has impacted my life. I can relate to your whole family, gurlll. I was alot like Neffi as a young woman and now that my kids are adults I relate more to your mom. While I have never been on drugs I suffered from low self esteem to a point where I failed to protect my family. My children rebelled and life was HELL for my family and I for many years. As a single parent it is hard at best and miserable at worst to raise children in poverty. I applaud you Ms. Cole and your family, for representing the TRUE reality of being poor and black in America. I am now completing my 2nd year of Graduate school at a state university in California and I pray your mom and Neffi will take this opportunity to go back to school. They will never be the same. More people than you realize will be touched by your willingness to be REAL on tv. I love you Keyshia Cole and your family for keeping it real. I hope to see all of you one day on "lifestyles of the rich and famous". You ALL deserve a taste of the good life. Blessings Granny

Re: Keyshia Cole - Season Two
I believe that Keyshia is a very strong women and wants the best for her family. We all have or had issues in our past with a parent whether it was drugs or drinking we all had our share in pain and having to grow up faster than what we were suppose to. I honestly feel were she is coming from. I do feel that its going to hurt her more if they dont want to change their lives, there only so much that one person can do. It's going to give her the strenght that she is going to need to be a stronger person. For anyone who dont think that she is doing the right thing well ur wrong she is! You only live once and have one mother! So Key do ur thang girl and dont give up, your what they need to help build a better life. By you moving them into ur home was very sweet of you, but sweetie dont let them stress you out, you know that there are issues that you guys need to work out. So keep doing what ur doing and be that helping hand! Its never to late than NEVER!

Re: A disaster? I pray not
Sweetie, I think that u shouldnt have said things in that form. We know Keyshia's past and about her mother. Being straight forward like that was a no no. There are plenty different ways that u could have said things. Keyshia is a young and hurt women. She is just like any other child seeking out for that love and attention from their mother. Its not her fault that her life was such a pain in the ***. But look I am not trying to agrue with u all I am saying is that was very harsh and bitter of u to just say that..........BYE
