Not many want to neither grow nor understand what they don’t know. It is not encouraged here in the states. It’s almost like some parts of Africa where the people only know about Jesus and Martin Luther King. Some may not even know the name of their president but they know all about Jesus and King. If our parents don’t know there will be a great chance that we will not know, like our parents. You will not see it much here due to our main interest and age group of our views.

Just remember we in the States live in a shake and bake society. We tend to want things in an instant you know a microwave era. If they don’t offer it as a primary class in order to graduate they will not take it upon themselves to invest. Besides, America teaches us to look the other way when it comes to Africa. True but keep in mind of the displaced people and what happens to a people who are disconnected from their roots. Everybody on earth has their roots or knowledge of self. This is not so for the American Black. For the most part he/she is living in Frankenstein mode. A Frankenstein man will never survive outside of his comfort zone.
