Re: Maoshan and his web of bull**it
Thank God you are back! Honestly out of all of them you are my favorite mixedmartialartsgamer. Just the idea of you makes me smile. I was afraid after your last experience you would never come back. Props to you for not letting the fact you are a walking absurd contradiction get in the way of posting again.                                                                                                                                           You think Nick Thompson sucks but he beat "your friend" (yeah sure) Fabricio Monteiro who you say is a real fighter (which he is). You claim to be an mma practionaire but you support Moashan who believes "99% of MMA guys can't throw a proper kick (Muay Thai, Kick Boxing), Actual Hand Skills (Boxing) range from mediocre to none existant.” You make this so easy I could go on forever!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Not one of your posts to date have made any sense and the latest is no different. Nice work. As far as whether I am posting under different names. lol. You guys love the "I know you are but what am I defense" don't you? I hardly think I need to considering there is no shortage of people who think you guys are a joke. The only other name I use is SBG on the underground forum (different site all together). However, its fine with me if you believe otherwise. If you want me to take credit for that kai master clip I am more than willing to do so. I haven't seen anything so funny in years.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                You say Maoshan is a "real street dude". I agree, that is exactly what he is. He cannot be compared to a real professional fighter and anyone who by watching his videos believes he can is about as stupid as is humanly possible. With that said I know one of 3 things is true. #1 This whole character is an act, #2 You know nothing about MMA or BJJ, #3 You are mentally challenged and unaware of how ridiculous you sound.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 And who said I don't like the Iron Ring? It's my favorite show. I don't think it is meant to be comedic but I think its hysterical. If the show makes money that's great but just the same I will call a spade a spade. The quality of the show lies in it's stupidity not it's legitimacy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  P.S how am I a slapstick comedian? Have I thrown a pie in anyones face? Maybe figuratively I did that to Maoshan. Is that what you meant? That threw me for a loop.

Re: Maoshan and his web of bull**it
I started watching this show but Maoshan made me stop. As someone who has practiced martial arts most of my life its embarrasing to have this guy on the show. I wonder if this guy realizes how many martial arts message boards have threads dedicated to what a joke this guy is. They all link to his youtube videos for laughs, he dosent even allow negative comments on his youtube videos because he has realized anybody with half a brain considers him to be a joke. Where I train, anytme anybody comes in acting like they know something when they are totally clueless, our head trainer calls them a "Maoshan". All this show has done for this guy has made me widely known as a joke.

  • OMG!!!
  • Maoshan, I have to give you props.  You are a lot smarter than I gave you credit for.  You called out a guy who will not likely come to fight you in the park.  I, as an example, can challenge Fedor to a knife fight on the Moon.  That makes me pretty tough right?
  • Anyway, Maoshan, did you consider that there are other up and coming MMA fighters that would love to have the moniker "Kung Foo Killer"?  Dude, I think you're in trouble.
  • BTW, there is no doubt in my mind that you're racist.  In your video response, you *73* all over MMA, except for the only two black MMA fighters you can name off the top of your head.  I guarantee you that both Jackson and Silva think you're a joke.

Re:  'Maoshan Answers Nick the *** Thompson' video        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS2qRzdqcGE                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Maoshan, I think you might be the next youtube 'Star Wars Kid'; better take the rest of those vids down. But seriously, why make a video and then claim to be waiting for Nick's response? You knew the terms before you made that video. Nick said that if you couldn't wager his price, he would find another fighter to fight you for free  A MONTH BEFORE YOU MADE THE 'Nick the ***' VIDEO.  Nick was told that you were looking for a promoter, you obviously couldn't find someone to back you, so you pull a b****h move like this? YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED MAOSHAN.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Prove to the world that we have never seen "real Kung Fu", be a man and take that video camera to the nearest Gracie Academy and post the results on youtube. Of course, none of this will ever happen because you're a dancer, not a fighter.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Oh yeah, race/class/victim cards don't play well these days, please stop.

Re: Iron Ring
"Would you please Define MMA? What is mixed Martial arts?" Maoshan, Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground. Unfortunately the "IRON RING" could be defined as MMA based on that description. But it is not what I would call good or quality MMA. I feel sorry for the fighters who thought they were actually going to be a part of something real or legit. The majority of their officials lack MMA credibility. Being a traditional martial arts doesn't make you an expert on Mixed Martial Arts fighting. BET could have put together a better product. There are black athlete's and business man that compete and have real interest in the sport of mma. This show has been a complete joke. Having racist idiots with a lack of knowledge of the sport pretty much shows the integrity of the product. *73* breeds more *73*...

Nick's latest response:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               (Nick): 'Lol, e-mail I just got from kung fu dude and my response.                                                                                                                                                                                              (Maoshan): "Check this out man,I come to you like a man, not some ***. I don't have mouth pieces running a Bunch of *** about you on the net. But *8* the ***, you've got my full attention now.  And I see I've got yours. Why'd you take the clips down now? You should have done that *73* before you challenged me. But no differance, it's not about the ring or money and in particular any rules. You challenged Kung Fu, now it's Bloodsport."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              (Nick): Bloodsport?  As in we are going to put glass on our knuckles before the fight? In any case, listen guy, I fight for money.  If you can't come up with they money that is fine but then I have no interest in talking to you any further. However, I have several lesser known teammates who I am sure would be interested in fighting you just for publicity's sake.  So why don't we do this?  We have the fight on Madtown Throwdown.  There is no commission so we can do no rules.  You can feel free to use you killer tiger eye lock or whatever.  You put up nothing but you and your corner's airfare.  You get nothing to show but if and when you undoubtedly win, you receive a substantial win bonus.  The amount can be agreed upon later and I will even agree to pay a portion of said amount.  I look forward to your response.                                                                                                                                                                                    Sincerely, Nick "the *** Goat" Thompson'

The killer tiger eye lock can be deadly when used properly, much like the two-handed clam jam. This Mushu guy sounds serious, watch out.

This is the best, on his website he even addresses how people in online forums might attack him, great pre-emptive stike. Maybe he can teach me this in his street-fu classes. http://www.blacktaoist.com/Novell%20martial%20articles/Internetwarrior.html

Nick,

I am responding to you because you seem to be the top dog on this particular page.  Can explain to me why adult men would want to participate in this blood sport?  I am against this sport, I think it is degrading to black men (I am assuming you are black)who are allowing themselves to be pimped out like a common street whore.  You are challenging someone to fight with glass on their hands what the hell is that?  You seem pretty damn sure of yourself which is a good thing but in the wrong arena.  Why would you want to intentionally hurt someone who has done nothing to you?  As I was reading your message it reminded of being in grade school calling someone out to fight.  I am trying to understand this blood lust, explain please

Re: Ben "Dover" Hill

bella86,

I'm not Nick Thompson (I am a fan of his) but I'll explain as best I can to you the whole 17 pages of this topic, since you obviously haven't read up on it.

Nick Thompson is a professional MMA fighter (he's white by the way) who stood up when a challenge was issued out to ANY MMA practitioner by Maoshan who is known as Ben Hill.  Maoshan believes his Kung Fu style is Superior to any lone or combined martial art out there.  He also claims that MMA practitioner's don't know how to "fight" (throw a punch, kick etc.) and grappling is for gay people.  I, and many other fans and practitioners of MMA took offense to this and would like for this to be proven for the world (via YouTube) to see.  The person who You should be questioning is Maoshan.  Maoshan issued out the challenged, and WE (the MMA community) answered by passing the message out to ALL fighters, amateur or pro.  We never knew who he was but he Started a fight with millions of people  So tell me, who's in the wrong?  There really is no blood lust here as you think.  To put it simply, I was called out in grade school by a guy that said he can run faster than me because he's wearing Nike and I'm wearing Reebok.  Same concept here.  People stand up for what they believe in.  Is that so hard to understand?

Maybe you should read all the posts before making this statement. The glass on the hands is a reference to the movie "Bloodsport" starring Jean Claude Van Damme. There's a part in the movie that people put glass on their handwraps before battle. Maoshan's claimed that his match up with Nick was going to be a bloodsport, and Nick's response was sarcastic. No one is actually going to put glass on their hands and battle. The situation is this: Maoshan feels that his kung fu skills can hold it's own against  MMA, and people are simply looking for proof. Nick was willing to step up to the challenge (provided some financial arrangement were made), and so have many other amateur mma fighters. So far nothing has happened. That's all. It boils down to a test of skill, and the rules in mma are a lot safter than the gladiator matches in Rome.I'm not here to change your opinions on fighting. To each their own. However, fighting has been a part of African American culture since the days of Ancient Kush. A good father had to be a good fighter in order to protect his family and hunt. One of the skills that was need in order to be a proper fighter was wrestling. Here's an online vid.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLV3qAWO-q0If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them. bella86 wrote:
