Someone did a thread about women who give it up the first night so I decided to do a thread about women who prefer to wait until they are married to have sex like me.

Men: If you were dating a woman, and you're very interested in her and wanted to pursue a closer relationship with her but find's out that she is waiting until she is married to have sex would you still date her and be faithful?

Ladies: How do you feel about waiting until you are married to have sex?

I'll try to simplify my answer because I can go all day on why it is best to wait for marriage.

 

These men are not going to marry you if you are giving it up before hand. They will gladly take it, but why commit when you can get it without the commitment? Bottom line is men desire a woman's body that much to were we women have to set the standard. What can men do if women decided not to have sex with them if they dont want to get married?

 

I'll tell you. A whole gang of men would start getting married because they want the package. They only have gotten cocky and unrighteous because we let them. Like I said a guy told me why should he wait to have sex with me when he can get other girls to do what I wont do. So that is proof that if other girls werent doing it, that would leave them no other choice.

 

I mean to be honest, women like to get married for the security of marriage and not being left with children to raise alone. But men get married for other reasons, not necessarily because they want a wife and want to be in a monogamous relationship with only her for the rest of his life. Ya dig?

 

I personally feel a woman is selling herself short by having premarital sex because of the coldness that men show towards women. You more than likely are going to end up pregnant and how many guys stick around to take care of the babies these days? Men are telling women up front not to even "catch feelings" these days. How can you have sex without any feeling behind it? That is not natural if someone is feeling that way.

 

 

Also just to build a better society, marriage is best. Women are the first teachers and doctors. If you have to be a mom and provider at the same time, who is going to care for you if your busy caring for someone else? God says that marriage is lawful for us and anything under that is fornication or adultery. He Knows Best.

 

 

I don't like the uneasy feeling of giving away my body and not knowing if this guy decides to up and get tired of me and leave. Then I am stuck with hurt feelings, possibly a child from him, and a hard time trying to make it through life carrying that weight. I'm straight. I'll wait.

Sorry. I've had sex with too many women. I'm like a old leopard who can't change his spots. For me to be faithful we'd have to get married pretty quick. 3 months (which felt like forever) was the longest I've EVER waited for sex in a relationship and that was my first love. Truth be told, I'd still date you if I was interested in a long term, but you'd have to suck me off or something or I would sex somebody else on the side until you were ready. Now if you and the guy were both saved, sanctified and filled with the holy ghost (religious). That'd be the easiest (and maybe only) way for both the man and woman to wait.

I'm going to keep it real. I'm not waiting until I get married to have sex. What I will do is wait until I've reached a certain level of intimacy (not referring to sex) and trust before we take that step. I think sex isn't to be taken lightly. Its not about manipulation or keeping control, its about protecting my feelings and building a solid relationship. If a man really cares about me, he'll wait to share that with me. Nothing easy is worth having anyway, and good men who are ready for real relationships already know that.

I would pursue a closer relationship with her .I would also respect her ,just like any man should,but it depends on if she is a virgin or going to quit having sex until she married.I aint no good ,so its a good chance i would not be faithful anyway. I dont think no man would be faithful if shes not a virgin.

I agree. What is soooo sad & pathetic is the guy who told me he wouldnt wait for sex with me was/is deeply religious and ALWAYS is talking about religious values! SMH...@ the hypocrisy. I lost mad respect for him.

Then he wasn't that deeply religious.....was he. I'm hearing more and more women say this. I guess men in "church" are bigger liars and backsliders than un-religious men sometimes. My grandfather, who was a preacher married to my grandmother since he was 18. On his deathbed at 72, told my aunt that sister Allen gave him crabs. The religious hypocrisy of some of these "church heads" kill me.

That sounds nice but even if I was looking for a wife that wouldn't make me want to choose you.....to me all you're doing is holding out to get a contract....There's even a possibility that you can have a "partner" in the background....

 

What else can you offer other than cliche's and claiming your'e independent? Are you wife material? Do I like you enough as a person to want to spend the rest of my life with you? have you proven yourself to be loyal and have my best interest at heart?

 

You can claim to be a church going christian or whatever but minor inconsistencies can take you completely out the game..and it's difficult to hold up a front for too long.

Hopefully if love can conquer lust then yes I would wait til marriage. And If I love my women and shes the only one I want to be with there is no question about me being faithful to her. If I'm not faithful then I really didn't love her.
